Running UWP application on Windows server 2019

Hello,
Is there any possibility to run the uwp application on 64 Bit windows 2019 server?

I have made changes to policies. I have downloaded the windows store - it crashes but no luck. I even installed a visual studio to debug. I can compile but can not run the application.

Any help in this direction would be appreciated.

I checked the document of Visual Studio 2019 for your issue. But in the document: [Visual Studio 2019 Platform Targeting and Compatibility][1], it doesn't mention if Visual Studio 2019 could directly deploy the app to the Windows Server 2019.

So my suggestion is that you could try to create a sideload package first, then sideload the app in the Windows Server 2019.

Solution properties

Build -

Run

Windows is updated, VS is also the latest and updated. not sure from where it's taking 10.0.17763.1518 version when I have latest.

Sideload settings -

When the .appinstaller file is double-clicked, I get this dialogue. I think it does not know what to do with the .appinstaller file.

I have even installed a store on this machine. it crashes.

Could you please change the min version of your app to build 17763? The error message shows that you are running the app at min version 18362 while the server version is build 17763.

It seems that you have installed your app in windows server 2019 successfully here: Installation of uwp on windows 2019 server. I've replied to you in that thread. Please check that.
