Currently I'm trying to connect my Azure Data Warehouse to an external application. Through this application, users will be sending queries to our tables. I have established a connection to our Data Warehouse, however it requires that I input login information into the raw Python code which I don't want, as it is insecure. I was curious as to if there is a way to establish a connection to the Azure database without having to raw-code credentials into the code.Please let me know if anything else needs clarification!

Thank you for the reply and for providing the documentation link! I have a question regarding this method: would this approach be compatible with the sqlalchemy package? Currently, I create an engine that uses a connection string to connect to the database. What credentials would I be using to create this connection?

You have to install sqlalchemy using pip install sqlalchemy then install pip install databricks-sql-connector on your local machine or in Azure data bricks cluster in the Azure Portal if you are using Azure Databricks.
You will see examples of code on how to connect in the following docs.

Databricks personal access token authentication
Username and password authentication
OAuth machine-to-machine (M2M) authentication
