One of our users saved some Excel files in his drive & shared them with his colleagues. These Excel files have a mane linkup Excel file which is stored in a local drive. now the user will be retired next month. If we take the backup from the share point then all linkups fill will be missing because the link path will be changed.
Please guide us on how to take the backup without losing data.

You can move the files and then use the process documented here under "Fix a broken workbook link" to update the file location.
