How can I change my default Outlook email on the web?

Hi,

I have a bit of an issue with my Microsoft and Outlook accounts.

So, I recently created a new Outlook with a whole Microsoft account with it. I don't need another one, so I wanted to know how can I, using my old Microsoft Account, change my Outlook email address? Below is the photo with a hint of what I mean.

Isn't the From field the account you're logged in to?

Are you setting up delegate access?

Also, looks like the issue is more related to your account, please kindly understand that the Outlook tag here we mainly focus on general issues about Outlook desktop client. It's suggested that you could post your case in dedicated forum for Outlook.com for more professional advice.

Hi,

Thanks for the heads-up. So what I mean here is:

I want a different Outlook email address with the same Microsoft account.

So, what I would like to happen is:

I open my Browser and redirect to outlook.com

I log in with my Microsoft Account

When Outlook opens, I press "New Email" and in my "From:" box I see my custom Outlook email such as: ******@outlook.com

Currently, instead of my custom email, as spoken about in step 3, I see this kind of email: ******@outlook.com

Is there a way to make the steps above come true?
