I'm trying to set a static IP on my azure automation account. I understand that I can do this using hybrid workers but would like to know if this is possible using just Azure.

I have created a virtual network along with a NAT gateway. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Jake,

I don't think it is possible to access external resources. However, you can add an automation account to a vNet, and if this vNet can be connected to your endpoint, you can obtain the static IP in this scenario. I have used it to access on-premises endpoints, and when doing this, the automation account's source IP is the resource's private IP.
