No pages in Microsoft Word

When I log into word I do not have pages, it is just one blank canvas and I’m not sure how I would change it back to show the page layout.

You didn't specify which version of Word you are using. In Word for Windows, choose View>Print Layout to see a page preview.

For future viewers, what was likely clicked was the Print View icon is the status bar.
It is likely that Josh was in web view in the desktop application.

As Charles pointed out, the button is likely the one for Print Layout view on the status bar, illustrated in the screen shot below.
