I am having issues with my vs code… it shows" failed to connect to the remote extension host server(Error: WebSocket close with status code 1006). how can this be resolved?

I have tried most of the stackoverflow suggestions:

1, tried wsl --shutdown

2, tried wsl --shutdown and update

3, reinstalling ubuntu

4, closed all vs code tabs and rebooted the systems.

Please let me know if there is any other way to make it work. thank you!

    Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code are different products, for VS Code issue, please report it in dedicated vscode forum for help. Thanks for your understanding!
