Hello! My organization is beginning to use MS Azure cloud services. I am interested in the Azure monitoring training tracks to begin my journey. I have completed some training however, want to make certain I am taking the correct ones.

I would also like to investigate what MS training is available from third party monitoring vendors; Data Dog, Dynatrace, Solar Winds, New Relic, etc. Do vendors post their training items for hooks/integrations into Azure on the MS learning portal, or should we reach out to them for specifics?

:)

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A and thank you for posting your questions here. Also, it is great to know you are interested in Microsoft technologies, product and services with training.

    Challenges

I understand that you are seeking guidance on the appropriate Azure monitoring training tracks to embark on. Additionally, you want to explore the availability of Microsoft training from third-party monitoring vendors such as DataDog, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, and New Relic, specifically focusing on integrations with Azure. The main question revolves around whether these vendors post their training materials on the Microsoft Learning portal, or you should directly contact them for more information.

    Solution

When it comes to Azure monitoring training tracks, Microsoft offers a variety of resources to help you get started with monitoring your Azure services effectively. This are suggested path:

    Microsoft

    Third-Party

As for third-party monitoring vendors like DataDog, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, and New Relic, they often provide their own training materials and documentation for integrating their tools with Azure. While some vendors may have their training resources available on the Microsoft Learning portal, it's recommended to directly reach out to them for specifics. They typically offer documentation, tutorials, and possibly even courses tailored to integrating their monitoring solutions with Azure services. This ensures you get the most relevant and up-to-date information for your specific integration needs.
