I am trying to setup a replication appliance on a Azure 2019 VM for replicating Linux servers which are not supported directly by ASR . But getting the error while configuring the appliance itself can some one guide me what could be the cause of this.

@Neeraj Sudhanshu - Welcome to Microsoft Q&A and thanks for reaching out to us.

The error might be due to an incorrect installation package, insufficient permissions, or a conflict with another module.

Please try the below steps and see if it helps:

    1. Check if there are any conflicts with other modules installed on your system. You can try disabling other modules temporarily and then installing the IIS URL Rewrite Module 2.
    2. Ensure that you have downloaded the correct installation package for your system. You can download the latest version of the IIS URL Rewrite Module 2 from the Microsoft website.
    3. Make sure that you have sufficient permissions to install the module. You may need to run the installation as an administrator.
    4. You can also try installing the module manually by downloading the MSI package and running it from the command line.

Hope this helps. and please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
