Hello all.
VS Ver 17.10 preview 2 and Android Ver 34
My app scrolling not work when the editor has focus.
when I unfocused the editor by moving the focus to an entry
the scrolling is working. I have working hard to resolve this issue
but no successful.
I tried to post the complete project, but this site does not accept zip files.
So I posted only the MainPage.xaml and MainPage.xaml.cs

If you want to scroll the layout when Editor is focused.
You can add Scrolled event in the top ScrollView.
<ScrollView x:Name="topscroll" HorizontalScrollBarVisibility="Never" VerticalScrollBarVisibility="Never" Scrolled="topscroll_Scrolled" >
If you want to scroll the Scollview, make the Editor is unfocused.
private void topscroll_Scrolled(object sender, ScrolledEventArgs e)
{
InputTB.Unfocus();
}

Hi Lu and thank you. Before I asked this I tried playing with scrolled event but this interfere when using the editor and scrolling the editor text a little the caret disappear and need to tap editor empty area to see it again. I tried also combining the topscroll with the editorscroll events but not succeed to remove this interference.
I tried this

But when start using the editor and text is close to keyboard screen and need to
scroll a little the caret disappeared.

I can reproduce this issue.
I test several times. I find we don't need to change this behavior. If this editor has focus and User input characters in it. this view should be fixed and top ScrollView cannot be scrolled. User could scroll vertical and horizontal. If user close this keyboard manually in android, user could scroll top scrollview.
If we make the top scrollview could be scrolled, when user input the characters, but he scrolled the view. This will cause the user to not know where to enter and need to find which control is being edited.
Lu thank you. So is there something I can do.? .. The core problem is when finished editing the soft keyboard stay open and when manually closed the editor still has focus. Is there something to do about this keyboard phenomenal. Thank you
Hi Lu. I found that if I fill the editor with enough "\n" new lines. I used 30 new lines. the scroll problem not occur. Is this can help to find a solution. Thank you.

Lu. you helped me and I want to accept your answer. I'm very very thankful to you. I know that it's bad to nest a scrollview but this worked ok for me 8 months and some morning that's stop and I was upset till you come and help me. Please make it answer so I can accept it. thank you.

Please do not use nested Scrollview. Just Use one ScrollView to wrap the Editor and increase the height of the ScrollView. Is that working?
