System Restore allows you to revert your system to a previous working state. If you recently made changes that caused problems, this can be a good option.

Reset This PC (Keep My Files):

This option reinstalls Windows 11 while keeping your personal files intact. This can be helpful for resolving various system issues.

    Open Settings.

Go to System and select Recovery.

    Click on Reset this PC.

Choose the option "Keep my files".

This process will take some time as it reinstalls Windows.

You may create a new user account with the same administrative privileges.

    Hi point,

Thanks for your post. Based on my research, there are several reasons that could cause the Start menu and taskbar to stop working and fail.

    • Corrupt system files
    • Installed faulty or incompatible software
    • Outdated OS
    • Lack of system memory
    • Hidden taskbar

You can refer the following article to see the methods of repairing.
