    Hello @Maria Kyprianou PowerBI uses the current user locale to format date and time strings. By default, the model culture property (used for formatting) is set according to the user locale of the computer. You can choose from several standard date formats that PowerBI gives you like Short Date, Long Date etc. You may optionally create custom date/time formats as well using the FORMAT function.     If you want to verify Power BI Desktop default number and date formatting, please refer to

    and in Power BI, we can manually change datetime format as follow:
