unable to access sharepoint file

Hi All

I am using sharepoint online. One of my user has shared a SharePoint file to an external user. user has shared the file to a gmail user. When the gmail user try to open the SharePoint url and when he puts his Gmail account he gets the below error. User shares the files to other external users and this issue doesn't happen and only to this user the issue happens.

We couldn't find an account with that username.

    What is the type of external sharing link?

    You could go to Microsoft 365 admin center -> Users -> Guest users -> Add a guest user -> Invite user -> Add the Gmail user.

    Then re-share the file with the Gmail user.
