    Hello,

In Microsoft Teams, setting a privacy mode can help you control whether other users can see your online presence. However, guest users and non-organizational users may not be restricted by your privacy settings. This is because they may not have specific permissions or settings associated with your organization.

You can prevent external users from having full visibility of the Teams status by disabling external access in your organization's Teams settings.

However, when you set it up this way, external users won't be able to see your Teams status and chat with users in your organization.
