Thanks for your post. Before moving on, to narrow down this issue, can I know if you have installed the Hyper-V before? If so, there might be one possible reason that the previous virtual network is not uninstalled totally. To deal with this, you can run Get-VMSwitch (Hyper-V) | Microsoft Learn to see if there is any virtual switch. If so, run the Remove-VMSwitch (Hyper-V) | Microsoft Learn to see if it can be removed. If there is any error when doing removal operation, you can locate to the following path to see if there is any corresponding value within that key.
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\VMSMP\Parameters\SwitchList
After they deleted the corresponding value within that key and rebooted, the virtual switch should be gone.
As always, I would recommend that you export your current settings to a .reg file to have an appropriate backup before attempting similar changes.
