Unable to update connections in RemoteApp for user profiles

Adam Solchenberger 0 Reputation points

The connection broker is at "rds" and DNS resolves to the correct server. This was working and suddenly stopped. Going to the RDWeb url via a browser does work but shows no RemoteApps. These did show several days ago. This entire domain is in the setup phase and no actual users are on it. Some users have the RemoteApp shortcut but these were users that we logged in with when the update was working. The RemoteApp still functions for these users. Users in the same groups that have never logged onto this PC do not get the update or shortcuts. User's image

This issue cannot be solved with general troubleshooting steps.

We could check if there's any error message in your eventlog (RDS server)

When we troubleshoot such an issue, we can always try to connect to RD server first.

If you can connect to RD server via "mstsc" , the issue should be on the connection broker or web/remote app, you only need to confirm logs on such servers.
