Hi ,
Currently, there is no direct integration or official syncing capabilities between Microsoft Azure DevOps and Microsoft Loop but there are ways or some workarounds to connect the two and leverage their combined strengths.
- Manual Integration:
Copy Links: Simply copy the link to relevant Azure DevOps items (work items, boards, pipelines) and paste them into Loop components like notes or tables. This allows quick access and reference within your collaborative Loop workspace.
Screenshots/Embeds: Take screenshots of key Azure DevOps details and embed them in Loop components. This provides visual context and avoids the need of constant switching between tools.
- Third-party Extension:
Power Automate: Utilize Power Automate flows to trigger actions in Azure DevOps based on events in Loop (e.g., creating a work item when a Loop task is marked complete). This automates some workflows and keeps data updated across both platforms.
Third-party integrations: While official Azure DevOps-Loop integrations are limited, some third-party tools are emerging to build connects between various Microsoft services. Explore these options for potential workarounds and future possibilities.
Both Azure DevOps and Loop utilize the underlying Fluid Framework technology. While currently distinct, future advances in this technology could pave the way for deeper integration and data interoperability between the two platforms.
Hope this helps.
