Lost access to Azure Portal - email deleted from domain by accident

Good afternoon,

The email address with which our Azure tenant was configured with was deleted from our domain by accident, and therefore I can no longer access the Azure portal to manage the services we had configured.

How can I restore my access, since the email address does not longer exist, the Azure tenant will need to be transferred to another email or make it accessible using another email address.

I've researched online and everyone seems to suggest to contact support, but I can't find a support contact anywhere! Apart from the raise a ticket support using a different azure tenant which I can only raise a technical support if I pay the developer plan at least!

I would have thought that Microsoft would have some sort of free mechanisms to recover access to a tenancy in case the email address access was lost...

Could you please help with providing some useful information on how to recover access to my Azure tenant?

Thanks,

Cristopher

    @Cristopher Aguilera

    Sorry to hear that you are facing issues accessing your Azure tenant due to the deletion of the email address with which it was configured. Here are some steps you can try to recover access to your Azure tenant:

    Contact Microsoft Support: As you mentioned, the best way to recover access to your Azure tenant is to contact Microsoft Support.

    1. You can create a support request by going to the Azure portal and clicking on the "Help + support" button at the bottom of the left-hand menu.
    2. From there, you can select "New support request" and follow the prompts to create a support request.
    3. If you are unable to create a support request using your current Azure tenant, you can create a new Azure tenant and use it to create a support request.
    4. You may want to know that- Creating a support request for billing and subscription issues is free for all Azure customers, regardless of the subscription plan. You can create a support request for billing and subscription issues by going to the Azure portal and clicking on the "Help + support" button at the bottom of the left-hand menu. From there, you can select "New support request" and choose the "Billing and subscription" category.
