OneNote + Macbook user seems lost recent data

Question

Macbook + Onenote user seems to lose data after a long sync to server issue.

What would be the best way to recover recent data? is there any way to recover data from cache? if yes, how can recover data from cache?

Backup does not have enough data at this time.
