Can I integrate my own LLM onto MS Word?

Hi! I'm exploring development and integration of an LLM onto MS Word as a task pane. I have so far learned about using Visual Studio to create the add-ins and I have searched about making the task pane. My next step is to integrate an LLM onto this task pane, something similar to this: https://github.com/OfficeDev/Word-Scenario-based-Add-in-Samples/tree/main/Word-Add-in-AIGC . But, I want it to be available for offline use as well. I'm a beginner at this so any help is appreciated! Thank you so much.
