How to boot on a drive in which I newly installed windows

Hello previously my brother installed and activated the windows using kmspico...for which I scolded him and now I have a genuine key...I installed a new windows on d drive...but when I try to boot it boots from that corrupted windows which is activated by kmspico...how can I boot from the one in which I installed newly and format the old one
