If I enable Exchange Online (Plan 2) for a user, does the MS 365 Business Stand still need to be ticked?

Hi all

As per subject line.

A user in our organization is approaching the 50 gig threshold under the MS Business Standard license assigned.

I have purchased additional licenses for the Exchange Online (Plan 2) to obtain the additional space allowed - up to 100gigs.

The question is do I keep the license for MS Business Standard ticked for this user?
If it is not needed to be ticked, does it impact the users use of installed applications?

Yea you need to keep that license enabled and just add the P2 to that user as you have pictured there
