Upgrading from GPT-35-Turbo-0301 to 0125

Hello,
I currently use GPT-35-Turbo-0301, which will retire in June. Will it automatically upgrade to 0125 when 0301 is retired for standard usage, or do I have to apply for an increase in the quota limit for 0125?
When I try to implement 0125 at this moment, it says:

No quota available Select a different version or deployment type, or free up resources in other deployments to request a quota increase or adjust an existing quota. Learn more about managing your Azure OpenAI quota

because appropriate quota limit is 0.
So, will 0125 be upgraded to standard usage of GPT3.5 (Tokens Per Minute (thousands) - GPT-35-Turbo), or will it stay as "Provisioned Managed Throughput Unit - GPT-35-Turbo-0125" and I have to request additional quotas to keep using GPT3.5 turbo?

Your understanding is correct. Version 0301 of gpt-35-turbo will be retired no earlier than July 5, 2024.

As mentioned here, Azure OpenAI supports automatic updates for selected model deployments where automatic update support is available.

When you set your deployment to Auto-update to default, your model deployment is automatically updated within two weeks of a change in the default version. For a preview version, it updates automatically when a new preview version is available starting two weeks after the new preview version is released.

I haven't found the information on the docs regarding the quota increase for gpt-35-turbo (0125) model. But, as per error message it seems that you have no quota available for model upgrade.

Please note that gpt-35-turbo (0125) is a different version of the GPT-3.5 model, and it has a different quota limit than GPT-35-Turbo-0301.

As per my understanding of this issue, gpt-35-turbo (0125) will not be automatically upgrade to standard usage of GPT-3.5. You need to request a quota increase or adjust an existing quota.
