How to revert new outlook downloads from automatically opening in System Viewer

In the new outlook I selected the setting when downloading a PDF, "Open with system viewer". Which no longer brings up the download list in the top right corner and opens the pdf in adobe acrobat. I would like to undo this setting as 95% of the time I am downloading it to move it into a new folder and opening it in adobe just slows down this process tremendously.

Hi @Clark Broom

Welcome to our forum!

Currently, New Outlook doesn't support changing the default PDF viewer on Outlook.

The new Outlook is not yet complete, and some options may not be available or work as expected. Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future, and you can make a suggestion via this link.

I was actually able to fix it. So, for someone else having the issue. Just need to reselect the "Always open with system viewer" and it will remove the check mark from it.Screenshot 2024-04-08 091330
