I have created a pipeline in ADF based on Dataflow. The dataflow shows step by step update I want to make also reflected in the sink. When I earlier used to run pipeline it worked fine. Now it is throwing error. I am sharing the details of the same.
Error code : DFExecutorUserError

Failure type : User configuration issue

Details : Job failed due to reason: at Sink "{Sink_Name}": Writing job aborted.

Please let me know any possible solutions
Thanks

@Nowduru, Sreedhar - Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

Based on the error message you provided, it seems like there is a user configuration issue. Specifically, the error message indicates that the writing job was aborted at the sink. This could be due to a number of reasons, such as incorrect credentials or insufficient permissions.

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    • Check the credentials for the sink. Make sure that the credentials are correct and have sufficient permissions to write to the sink.

Check the permissions for the sink. Make sure that the user or service principal running the pipeline has the necessary permissions to write to the sink.

Check the connection between the source and sink. Make sure that the connection is established and working properly.

Check the dataflow settings. Make sure that the dataflow settings are configured correctly and that there are no errors in the dataflow.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may provide more details on sink type and the steps followed to run the pipeline for further assistance.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.

    Hello @Nowduru, Sreedhar

There could be multiple reasons for this error.

One possible reason could be that the sink is not able to write data due to some permission issues. Another reason could be that the sink is not able to handle the volume of data being written to it.

To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check if the sink is configured correctly and has the necessary permissions to write data.
    2. Check if the sink is able to handle the volume of data being written to it. You can try reducing the volume of data being written to see if it resolves the issue.
    3. Check if there are any issues with the network connectivity between the data flow and the sink. You can try running the pipeline again after some time to see if the issue resolves itself. If none of the above steps work, you can try looking at the detailed logs to get more information about the error.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.
