Hi
This is regarding Managment Studio when connected to an Azure SQL Managed Instance.
I need to configure database mail within 'SQL Server Agent' but the properties menu is missing from the managed instance, how do i access this menu?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you for replying but i dont think that page addresses my core issue. Unless i am missing something obvious.
I have already setup Database mail and test emails works fine.
The email profile is called as required > AzureManagedInstance_dbmail_profile
Now i am trying to setup a job via 'SQL Server Agent' which emails once job is complete, but i am unable to select the email profile from the below section >
I'm under the impression that to add the email profile i must add it via the 'Properties' option when right clicking 'SQL Server Agent'.
What am i missing?

As per the blog,
Managed Instance enables you to notify an operator via email when a job succeeds or fails using the following script: I hope you have executed the script?
EXEC msdb.dbo.sp_update_job
@job_name=N'My job name',
@notify_level_email=2,
@notify_level_page=2,
@notify_email_operator_name=N'SQL DevOp'
This script will configure SQL Agent job to notify operator if the job fails. If you run a job and it fails, the operator should get the email.

thank you for pointing me in the correct direction, i didnt realise i had to setup an operator, i can now select an operator from the dropdown, i was expecting i had to select the mail profile and not the operator.
