How to export PDF in PDF/A-1 or PDF/A-2 formats using Word for Microsoft 365

The PDF/A-3 formats seems to not be suitable for archiving purpose.
Several 3rd party applications used for archiving documents do not support PDF/A-3 and need explicit PDF/A-1 or PDF/A-2 created.
Microsoft Word 2016 have used PDF/A-1 format, but starting with 2019 Word exports by default into newest format PDF/A-3, in all export methods (Using Export As... , print to PDF or ExportAsFixedFormat API method).
Can this be configured (in the application or via API) to generate prior PDF/A format?
