Still can't install KB5034439 on Server 2022 due to recovery partition size being too small. Is Microsoft releasing a fix for this issue?

@Daniel Chamczuk IT - Welcome to Microsoft Q&A and thanks for reaching out to us.

This is a known issue, and our internal engineering team is working to fix the issue.

Current workaround is to add below mentioned registry value on systems where WINRE has been disabled or on devices with no WINRE.

    Windows Command PromptAI ConvertCopy

    reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion" /f /v WinREVersion /t REG_SZ

Hope this helps. and please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.

The registry fix for this issue is:

    reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion" /f /v WinREVersion /t REG_SZ /d "10.0.20348.2201"
