Hello All,
I have inherited a network setup where the remote clients use an IPSEC vpn client to establish a secure tunnel to the network the use the MS RDP client to access theier office pc.
I am wondering is this secure enough or would setting up an RD Gateway with SSl be more secure/
Any thoughts ideas are appreciated.

Thanks
Mac

    Hi,

As far as I am concerned, RD Gateway with SSL should be more secure. Using RD gateway can restrict users to only remote connect to their office PC and every action is proceeded in the remote session. But using VPN can let the users' home pc have access to all shared files and resources just like the office pc can do. From this point, VPN should be more convenient while RD Gateway should be more secure.

    Thanks,
