I am not able to sign in into my workday app and outlook app for work. The authenticator app doesn’t work.

If your app doesn't run try to update/reinstall it.

If the code is not working you should consider that the authenticator app relies on time-based codes (TOTP - Time-based One-Time Password). Ensure that the time on your device where the authenticator app is installed is synchronized accurately. Incorrect time settings can lead to code generation issues.
