How to add reference to word and excel interop in studio 2012

Question

I am transferring a visual studio to an older machine. I am getting compile errors on:

Imports word = Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word and

Imports Excel = Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel

I cannot find these references anywhere.
