Hello, I’m unsure why I’m unable to utilize GPT-4 even though it’s included in my subscription. I’ve already switched to a region that supports GPT-4, but to no avail.

When I select GPT-3.5 or any option other than GPT-4, the deployment type is ‘Standard’ and it works. However, when I select GPT-4, the deployment type changes to ‘Provisioned Managed’ and it doesn’t work. I’m not sure why this is happening, but I hope there’s a solution.

    athif Greetings!

Please note that model availability varies by region.

You will see this type of issue when a model is not available for deployment in a particular region.

From the above screenshots, looks like you are trying to deploy GPT-4 on Southcentral US.

As mentioned on models availability page, currently only gpt-4, 0125-Preview is available for deployment.

Model availability is subjected to capacity constraints on the specific regions. There is no exact ETA which can be shared.

I would suggest you try deploying the models in any of the available regions as per above.

Incase, if you would like to deploy in the same region, as mentioned in the error message, you can either increase or adjust the quota. You can Learn more on how to manage Azure OpenAI quota for more details.

Also, I see that you are using Azure for Students subscription. Please upgrade to pay-as-you-go account for more benefits.

Do let me know if that helps or have any further queries.
