Passwords missing after iOS 17 update

i have a an iphone 11. I updated the ios ios17 and now my entire saved passwords in the microsoft Authenticator are gone. I had over 100 saved passwords and now there’s nothing. Apple support was not helpful telling me it’s a 3rd party app so their services are limited.
any thoughts?
