How can I renew my free Azure trial to continue learning?

I used my 30-day Azure trial on some previous training last year. However, I would like to continue learning. I had to disable my Azure subscription because I began to get charged after the trial was over.

Is there a way I can continue learning? Know that I do not have the budget to pay for Azure resources personally.

I have my own developer environment, but whenever I try to create an Azure resource in there, I am prompted to create a trial through a personal Microsoft account.

I do have access to these resources through my place of employment, but need a space I control to continue learning. Thank you!

A lot of Microsoft Learn courses include exercises that allow you to use a sandbox environment, provisioned for you for the duration of the exercise, without having to provide your own subscription.

    Start with https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/browse/

    Hi Curtis Amrein,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q & A forum.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Microsoft offers a free trial account.

We recommend exploring the possibility of creating a separate or alternate personal Azure account.

The Azure free account offers complimentary access to various Azure products for a duration of 12 months. Additionally, you will receive $200 credit for the initial 30 days after sign-up, along with access to over 40 services that are available always free of charge.

Once a free trial account expires, unfortunately, there isn't an option to recover the points accumulated during the trial period. To continue accessing platform and its benefits, Microsoft platform offers a "pay-as-you-go" alternative for continuous service access.
