How to fix touch screen issue in Microsoft RD client in Android scanners ? When we save the option as touch screen after few minutes it gets changed to mouse pointer in the RD session.

Hi All,

We use Microsoft Remote Desktop version 10.0.18.251 to connect to our servers from Android RF Scanners. Recently users reported that the touch screen option often toggles to the mouse pointer in the remote desktop session. Outside the remote desktop session there is no issue with the touch option based on which we can conclude that the touch screen is not an issue here.

In the remote desktop session when we enter any data, it seems to toggle to mouse pointer from touch screen. Is there any way we can ensure that the remote dession is only in touch screen mode ?

    Hello,

    Unfortunately, we do not have a direct method to confirm whether you are in touch mode. However, you can manually verify it yourself by accessing your Settings menu and navigating to the Troubleshooting section where you can examine your logs to see if there are any reported errors related to touch functionality.
