SCVMM 2019 Readd Agent Fail Win32_PerfFormattedData_Tcpip_NetworkInterface 0xc0000bbf

Question

When trying to re-add a faulty Agent using SCVMM, refresh cluster , an alert is prompted, Win32_PerfFormattedData_Tcpip_NetworkInterface Unknown error (0xc0000bbf). new node not available.

An error is also reported when trying to use Get-WMIObject Win32_PerfFormattedData_Tcpip_NetworkInterface on the target machine. Attempts have been made to delete the virtual switch and network card, but the fault still persists.

The Win32_PerfFormattedData_Tcpip_NetworkInterface class provides pre-calculated data from performance counters that monitor the rates at which bytes and packets are sent and received over a TCP/IP network connection. It includes counters that monitor connection errors.

The error 0xc0000bbf you’re encountering might be due to an issue with the performance counter. One possible solution could be to try re-creating the performance counter

Have you attempted to manually uninstall the SCVMM agent? After uninstallation, reinstall the agent using the latest agent.
