Sandbox inaccessible due to 'unusual activity' and appealed, but waiting 2 weeks

I want to go through all the Azure training, and soon perform the certifications, starting with fundamentals. This is very important and pressing for me as I am discussing a new job where I will need to solidify my knowledge. I had previously experimented with creating VMs and a domain using the free Azure account, but had issues and did not go further, this was 2 or 3 months ago.

When I get to the first part of the training requiring a sandbox, I receive a message that my account or connection has been flagged for unusual activity. I lodged an appeal, however have now been waiting 2 weeks and it's still not working, nor have I received any correspondance about this.

I desperatly want to get back in and complete this training and move forward, so hope someone can assist, as the FAQ stated appeals usually take 24-36 hours.

Thank you

    Hi Tim Herman,

    Thank you for your patience.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced in accessing the sandbox.

While we are committed to keeping you informed of any updates as they become available, we recommend a workaround for the time being. We suggest signing up for an Azure free account through the provided link: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free, where you can create a sandbox environment.
