We are having an issue where multiple users are not able to open .rpmsg emails from multiple outside sources. So far the only way a user has been able to one the message is on their mobile device. We and they are wanting to one the email don't their PC in Outlook but Outlook will not open the email.

@Robert J Thank you for reaching out to us, As I understand you are trying to decrypt rpmsg emails with Outlook desktop client.

If you encrypt an email, you get a regular email (.msg) that now has an attachment, message.rpmsg. These two things together comprise an encrypted message that Outlook and Exchange know how to handle. Just having a message .rmpsg file pulled out of an encrypted mail, there is not anything we can do with that. Our SDK does not support just the raw message .rpmsg file.

Same has been documented here - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/information-protection/known-issues#powershell-support-for-the-azure-information-protection-client:~:text=PowerShell%20support%20for%20the%20Azure%20Information%20Protection%20client

Let me know if you have any further questions, feel free to post back.
