    Hi Daniel Elisio,

We appreciate your engagement with the Microsoft Q&A forum.

The Exercise - Explore Azure Synapse Analytics invites exploration of the capabilities of Azure Synapse Analytics. We will utilize a provided script to provision an Azure Synapse Analytics workspace in our own Azure subscription (Free/Pay-as-you-go) and then employ Azure Synapse Studio to execute core data analytics tasks.

As noted in the document, to complete the exercise, an Azure subscription (Free/Pay-as-you-go) with administrative access is required.

To launch the exercise, please click on the "Launch Exercise" button, as depicted in the screenshot below:

User's image Upon clicking the button, a lab instructions page will open in a separate window, accessible via the following URL:

    https://microsoftlearning.github.io/dp-203-azure-data-engineer/Instructions/Labs/01-Explore-Azure-Synapse.html

Please follow the instructions outlined in the HTML document and complete the exercise in your own Azure subscription (Free/Pay-as-you-go).

After completing the exercise, it is important to delete the resources and resource groups created in the Azure portal to avoid unnecessary Azure costs.

Sounds like the DP-203 certification has been retired.
