Persistent Proxy Authentication Issue Following User-Specific Computer Assignment

On my Active directory server, I assign a predefined computer to a user, and they can only log in on that machine. Currently, I’m using the automatic proxy configuration in Windows, which uses an automatic configuration script. This script is set up on the clients for Internet authentication. However, when I log into that computer with the assigned user and open the browser, the proxy asks for the user’s credentials. The proxy authentication does not allow me to log in, and it keeps prompting me over and over again. I believe this problem started occurring when I assigned the user to only one computer for login. Could this be related to the browser authentication issue?
