Having BSOD errors every 10-20 mins, swapping RAM with new ones 5 months back seemed to help the issue but it started again and it's worse than before. Please help?

Hi everybody, I purchased a custom PC in October 2023, here are the specs:

Processor- AMD Ryzen 5 7600x

Motherboard-MSI MPG B650 EDGE WIFI (Only DDR5 Ram Supported)

(Old) RAM- 32GB CORSAIR DOMINATOR PLATINUM 16GB X 2 5600MHZ DDR5

(New) RAM - G.SKILL TRIDENT Z5 16GB X 2 6000 DDR5

CPU Cooler- Deepcool AIO LS520 SE A-RGB Black 240mm Liquid Cooler

Graphics- MSI GEFORCE RTX 4060 TI GAMING X TRIO 8GB GDDR6

Power supply-EVGA Supernova 850GT 850 Watt 80+ Gold Fully Modular Power Supply

————————————

After getting my PC I started having multiple BSOD errors every 15-30 mins with “memory management, kernel security check failure, ntfs.sys”. After going through bunch of solutions and going back and forth with my vendor, I eventually got my old ram replaced with new RAM - G.SKILL TRIDENT Z5 16GB X 2 6000 DDR5.

A few months went by (got new RAM in November 2023 so it was winter season) and everything was going smoothly with occasional 1 or 2 crashes in the span of 4-5 months. Then came March with beginning of summer and my games started crashing. I thought maybe it’s because of overheating, I ran few stress tests and Cinebench stress test showed me 95 degrees celsius at max stress and my PC crashed with BSOD error. I was shocked and after researching a bit found that the ryzen 7000 series CPU run too hot but even with AIO cooler i was surprised to see that much temperature. Even the idle temperature is around 50-55 degrees. A couple days went by and while I was trying to fix my game crashes i started to hit this avalanche of same BSOD errors that I faced earlier before I got my ram replaced. I thought that it’s the issue with RAM again but considering i got it replaced only few months back I am clueless what could be the reason. I eventually decided to run Memtest86. I tested 1 stick at a time on slot 2 and 4 both for 1 pass.

Stick A on slot 4 showed 904 errors

Stick A on slot 2 showed 115 errors

Stick B on slot 4 showed 91 errors

Stick B on slot 2 showed 176 errors

I tried running Stick A on slot 1 and 3 as well but system didn’t boot (I don’t understand the dual channel concept so i stayed with slot 2 and 4).

I tried different slots to figure out if the issue was with the RAM modules or the Motherboard slots or with the Motherboard/CPU (considering my CPU was running hot for sometime).

Anyway, just to confirm my suspicions about the RAM module I ran the memtest86 for both sticks together and I lost my mind. It does not show any errors. I don’t understand how it could be possible but it just doesn’t show any errors.

I have EXPO, CPU OC and PBO disabled and have been running my PC as such for past few months without any issues.

Further, I ran a clean windows installation just to ensure it's not a software issue but I am still having constant BSOD errors.

Can anyone please help me understand what might be the issue and how to fix this? Or even how to get closer to the root cause? Is it a hardware or software? Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance and if you took out time to read this I love you.

Open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and file a bug report and report this issue and attach dump files there.
Try performing Clean Boot and see if the problem persists?
    Have a look at:

If not, enable services one by one to see which one causing this problem.

    Hello,

You could check the event viewer about event id 6008、41、1001. Check the bugcheck code if is 0. If it is 0, it is most likely a hardware problem.

According to your description, memory has been detected by memtest86. I also suggest to update BIOS version, chipst and video card driver to check.

    Best Regards,

    Hania Lian
