I stopped syncing my MS teams files with my Desktop. Now on my Desktop files are not being synced. Can I delete them? I need to restructure files in MS Teams, change folder names, so I intend to delete all the synced files on my desktop, rearrange the files on Ms teams and them sync again so I have the new file structure and names on my desktop. is this the correct way to proceed?

    @Munk De Alba, Patricia

    When you stop syncing, files you delete locally from File Explorer will not sync to Teams.

    is this the correct way to proceed?

    Yes, the way is correct. If you are not sure, we also recommend you backup these documents before delete it.
