I'm trying to record a macro in Excel while formatting a comment for a cell. But only the text content will be recorded.

Changing of background color, pattern e.g. are not recorded.

The button for stop recording is dimmed when I enter the dialogue box for formatting.

Recording a macro for formatting a cell e. g. has no problems.

Excuse me for bad English, I'm a german user.

Thank you for answer. I have activated the option but only formatting of the text (e. g. font, style, size) will be recorded. Other features like pattern, background color are still not recorded.

The button for break recording is now not dimmed.
