Hello, I have an MSDN Platforms Subscription for Azure that provides $100 of free credits each month. My spending limit hasn't been removed, and no payment method is added to the subscription.
I read on Microsoft's website that the spending limit is always equal to the free credits we receive. Despite this, I received an email today mentioning that my services were disabled because I reached my spending limit. Surprisingly, upon checking the "Cost Management + Billing" page, I can see that my current cost is showing more than $200, which exceeds my allocated free credits, even though I haven't spent more than the free credits provided. This unexpected cost is something I cannot afford to pay.
Even in the worst case, if someone accidentally exhausts all of their free credits, the spending limit will, and should activate, and the subscription should be disabled to prevent overuse beyond the free credit amount. So, I don't know why the current cost is showing over $200 in my case despite hitting the spending limit. I certainly haven't spent so much, and this is definitely an unexpected cost.
I attempted to contact Microsoft, but since I don't have a paid support plan, I was unable to reach them. Can anyone please guide me and provide me with a resolution for this issue? Also, if I don't pay the amount, what will happen?
I'm surprised as to why my current usage exceeds the $100 limit imposed by my subscription. Could someone offer guidance on resolving this issue and point me towards the appropriate channels for support? Additionally, if I choose not to pay this amount, what consequences might I face?
Lastly, if I don't get a resolution to this and consequently don't pay the amount, what will happen?
Edit: Strange, now the cost is showing more than $350. It's insanely weird and strange.
Even though I have deleted the whole resource group 3 hours ago, still, how can the cost get increased?
Now it's final, I'm not at all going to pay the amount at any cost.
