A reboot was triggered from inside the virtual machine. This could be due to a virtual machine operating system failure or as requested by an authorized user or process. The virtual machine will be back online after the reboot completes.

Hi @Krishna Aswin,

Thanks for contacting Microsoft Q&A platform.

I can understand you are having query\issues related to Azure VM rebooted.

  1. Please check the event log to see why the machine is rebooting?
  2. Please try to Uninstall any previous update
  3. Please check if extension is failing to update or install.
  4. If issue still persists then this issue could be caused by something that happened at the backend ARM level.

A support case would be a better way to deal with this.

Hope this helps you.
