Some time ago we made a Word add-in which is used for quick launch functionality to access software that we produce. We created this with using VSTO. From the “Important” box on the following page (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/dev/add-ins/overview/learning-path-transition
) it appears MS are moving towards EOLing these approaches – at least for the new Outlook application which is in trial now.
Would it be possible to be told if this will also impact the Word application, and if so, what are the expected timelines.
