Running windows 10 home GOFLEX external USB seagate ST1000LM024 hard drive lights up but I don’t get anything that shows windows recognize it at all.?

Is the usb hard drive recognized in the device manager?
If it is not listed in the device manager, we may consider hardware issue.
If it is recognized in the device manager, we could check the hard drive in the disk management tool. Try to fomat it again may be the first step.
The hard drive support may have more resources to help you.

Better ask this the Seagate Support, may a known issue and they have a fix for.
