Office 365 Deployment Efficiency: Intune Strategies

Hi Expert,

I have deployed Visio, Access, Project, and Publisher (O365) in my environment using SCCM. These packages are working perfectly fine individually and installing as expected. I have also created these packages in Intune, but there is an issue with installation. Some users reported that either Access or Visio, or both, are getting removed. I tried investigating through logs but couldn't identify the cause. My goal is to have these packages created without the Office suite and installed individually without removing any existing applications. Can you suggest an XML file for all these packages (Visio, Project, Access, Publisher), or provide a method through which I can create and install these packages individually without removing existing Office 365 packages? Additionally, can you tell me if Office 365 apps can be deployed only to device groups or to both users and device groups in Intune? Also, if I deploy the Office 365 package to a group, can users and devices both be added to it without any issues, or is it necessary to add only one of them, either devices or users.

1,Please make sure the Office apps are closed during the installation. If any Office apps are open when Intune installs the app suite, the installation might fail, and users might lose data from unsaved files.

We can deploy Office 365 apps to both device group and user group. We can also deploy them to a group with both device and user members.
