The retirement date for GPT-3.5-Turbo-16k version: 0613 is approaching on 2024/6/13. This timeline is quite close, and we have not identified a post-retirement version of this model in the documentation or announcements.We have already allocated resources for GPT-3.5 Turbo 16k version: 0613 and GPT-4 version: 0613 in the East US region. I understand that as of now, this setup should not pose any immediate issues. It would be great if you could confirm this understanding.

we have not identified a post-retirement version of this model in the documentation or announcements. We have already allocated resources for GPT-3.5 Turbo 16k version: 0613 and GPT-4 version: 0613 in the East US region.

Your understanding is correct. These models are near the retirement. Once a new version is available, you will be able to upgrade. But they are currently available for use in Azure OpenAI Service.

Azure OpenAI notifies customers of active Azure OpenAI Service deployments for models with upcoming retirements. We notify customers of upcoming retirements as follows for each deployment:

• At least 60 days before retirement
• At least 30 days before retirement
• At retirement

Retirements are done on a rolling basis, region by region.

I would suggest you to keep an eye on the updates or announcements regarding the retirement of this model and plan accordingly.
