See here. Although having experienced bad updates before I wouldn't recommend you immediately install updates from MS when they release. Unless you want to live on the edge, and have a great backup strategy, then you might want to let the updates bake in the wild for a few days first.
How to subscribe to Microsoft for CU updates
I will like to subscribe to Microsoft so that I can get the latest CU patches immediately Microsoft have a release. How do I go about this? Please can someone send the SPECIFIC LINK to get this done

Thanks for your information.
Here is a known issue like yours. You can follow https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/sql-server-blog/bg-p/SQLServer/label-name/SQLReleases to subscribe to Microsoft for CU updates. In addition, A CU will include all previous CU updates for the same branch, you don’t need to install each CU individually.
Hope this can help you well.
Best Regards,
Lucy Chen
